Prague-based literary journal B O D Y is celebrating a year of publication this coming Thursday, July 11th at Prague’s Anglo American University Library, so anyone in the vicinity is invited to attend a reading that includes Joshua Weiner (USA), Yang Lian (CHINA), Yo Yo (CHINA), Natashia Deón (USA), and Milan Děžinský (ČR) along with refreshments that include “a selection of fine single malt Scotch whiskies, liqueurs, and good old slivovice, as well as various non-alcoholic drinks.”
I’m a contributing editor at B O D Y and do the Sunday European Fiction series.
All the information and directions you’ll need to come to Thursday evening’s event can be found here.
You can check out the work of the invited writers in the B O D Y archives while three poems by Czech poet Milan Děžinský were just published today.
I will be arriving in Prague after a transatlantic flight on the afternoon of the party and will make use of whichever of the above refreshments best helps me recover from that. I hope to see you there.
