The Anti-Odyssey

“The war is over. Troy has been looted and burned. A valiant Greek warrior whose name has been lost to posterity and so will be designated as X, loads his ship with treasure, hoists the sails, and sets a course for home.”

So begins “The Anti-Odyssey”, a short story of mine in the newly published issue of the Mexico City-based Ofi Press issue 43.

The new issue also includes fiction by Zambian writer Chobela Ndilila and UK writer Angela Topping as well as poetry, reviews and articles, interviews with author Benjamin Kwakye (Ghana) and wrestler Scott Wainwright (UK).

You can read all about the issue and the accompanying reading (I won’t be there…too far, alas) here.
