Lit Link Festival will kick off its second year on August 28, holding events in three Croatian cities over three days and bringing together writers, editors and publishers from Croatia with those from Canada, the UK, the US and The Czech Republic. The Czech is possibly the least Czech person I know, namely, me, and I’ll be presenting this site as well as the work we publish in B O D Y at the festival’s final night in Zagreb.
Lit Links will also pass through Pula and Rijeka and the participating writers include Sheila Heti, Zoran Žmirić, Adam Mansbach, Maša Kolanović , Miriam Toews, Managing Editor of McSweeney’s Andi Winnette and editor at Granta and Portobello Books Anne Meadows among many other writers and editors.
The festival program director is Croatian writer Robert Perišić, whose novel Our Man in Iraq was published by Istros Books in the UK and Black Balloon Publishing in the US.
