Readux is a new Berlin-based literary website with a wide range of coverage

Readux is a new Berlin-based literary website with a wide range of coverage of German and French books and literary goings on. The site will feature reviews, interviews, articles, opinion and through April 3rd even has a book giveaway.

Launched earlier in March the site already has a lot of interesting content, including a great short take on the sidelining of international literature in English-language book culture (which is what makes sites like this so necessary and helpful). Other articles of interest are a review of the late Christoph Schlingensief’s Heaven Can’t Be as Beautiful as it is Here!, a Tour de French Moroccan Literature that promises ongoing coverage of books, reading and publishing in Morocco and an expose of the James Frey of Germany (though a lesbian soldier version who, as far as I know, has yet to appear on Oprah).
